Traffic Commission

The Traffic Commission shall consist of the Chief of Police, Chief of the Fire Department, City Engineer, Director of Administrative Services, one member of the City Council appointed by the Mayor, the Human Resources Director for the City of Quincy, the traffic analysis officer of the Quincy Police Department, and five additional members to be appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council. The terms of the five appointed members shall begin from the date of their appointment, and their successors in office shall be appointed each year thereafter with the term of office of one member expiring annually.

The Traffic Commission shall recommend to the City Council any measures deemed desirable to protect the public against and to prevent accidents.

Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in City Hall Conference Room 235.
