Central Services

General Operations include construction, water, sewer, streets, transit, forestry, paint and sign, garbage, recycling, fleet maintenance and facility management.

City Clerk

The City Clerk attends all meetings of the City Council and keeps a full account of its proceedings. The City Clerk's Office is responsible for keeping various official records of the City which includes the City council meeting minutes, ordinances, and resolutions.

City Treasurer

The City Treasurer is responsible for receipt, deposit, and recording of all revenues for the City of Quincy, as well as the control and monitoring of all the City’s bank accounts and for investing idle funds.

Communications

The Communications Department keeps the public informed, engaged, and connected with the City of Quincy. We manage official communications, media relations, public information campaigns, social media, and the city website. Our goal is to ensure clear, timely, and accurate information reaches residents, businesses, and stakeholders.

Comptroller

The Comptroller's Office is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, general accounting operations, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and debt management.

Engineering

Engineering Department duties include planning, designing, cost estimation and supervision construction of infrastructure improvements in the city.

Human Resources

The employees of the City of Quincy are its most valuable resource. The HR Department is responsible for coordinating the selection, hiring, evaluation, promotion, training, and development of qualified personnel.
