Mayor's Office

The Mayor’s Office provides executive leadership for the City of Quincy, overseeing day-to-day operations and working with City Council, departments, and the community to advance city priorities. The office focuses on effective governance, economic development, public service delivery, and ensuring transparency and accountability in all aspects of city government.

City Council

The Quincy City Council consists of 14 Aldermen representing 7 wards, each serving 4-year terms. Meetings are held every Monday at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers, with public attendance encouraged

Quincy Township

Quincy Township Assessor and General Assistance help those who are seeking assistance with rent, deposit, mortgage, Ameren, Water and other needs. These services are limited to certain eligibility requirements.

Boards and Commissions

The City of Quincy has several boards, commissions, and committees which are comprised of City Council members, City of Quincy staff, and individuals who deal with areas of policy making through ordinance and zoning issues, and more.
