Who can the Quincy Township Help?

  • Residents of Quincy Township (all 62301 and some 62305)
  • Individuals and family units
  • Cannot be recipient of SSI of TANF

General Assistance

  • The Quincy Township offers a monthly assistance program for INDIVIDUALS who do not have income coming in.
  • If you are able to work, you will need to complete a job search and community service hours.
  • If you are unable to work, we will need a doctor's note stating you are unable to work.

Representative Payee Program

If you have had a payee, and would like our office to become your payee, we need: Your doctor to complete SS form 787 and have it sent to Social Security Complete a form in our office If you have a payee and would like to switch to have our office become your payee, please call or come into the office. Once we are your payee, we will meet with you to review your bills and set up a weekly appointment to provide allotted check.

Unmet Needs

Our office can assist with completion of Unmet Needs applications for those living in Adams County. Unmet Needs is a group of agencies and churches that meet twice a month to assist with needs of individuals in Adams County. Rent and utilities must be up to date before they can look at assisting towards additional needs. Must have used all other available resources before applying for unmet needs. unmet.png
