NEWS RELEASE - 

Weather permitting, contractors are scheduled to begin micro-surfacing in the Breckenridge & Wilderness Trails Subdivisions, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Street impacted include:

Newbury Court Devonshire Court

Bedford Court Huntleigh Road

Hampton Lane south of Quail Creek Dr. Pheasant Run

Quail Creek Drive from Hampton Lane to S. 46th

Woodland Trail from Pheasant Run to S. 46th

Micro-surfacing is a treatment used to extend the life cycle of weathered, pitted and raveling asphalt

roadway surfaces. Streets shall be closed to traffic for 3 to 4 hours while crews apply the treatment to the street.

The project is expected to be completed by the following week.

Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and should anticipate

increased traffic and minor delays in the area during construction hours.
