The department oversees all computer and telecommunications systems, including the purchase and maintenance of hardware, software, telephones, and cellular devices. IT staff manage repairs and troubleshooting for computer systems and communications equipment across all City facilities.
The IT Department also handles the video production and broadcasting of City Council meetings, providing live streams via Facebook, as well as cable broadcasts on Comcast (Channel 15). The department supports video coverage of other special City events as well and has expanded programming for COQ TV, the City’s government access channel.
