TOURISM TAX
All hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts pay City of Quincy Tourism Taxes. The tax rate is 8% of their gross receipts. The tax was initiated to assist the Oakley-Lindsey Civic Center pay off their bond issue.
PROPERTY TAXES
The County Treasurer’s Office collects the property taxes for the City of Quincy. Their office is located at the Adams County Courthouse, 507 Vermont, Quincy, IL 62301. Any questions regarding property taxes should be directed to their office at 217-277-2245. (Link to Adams County Website)
