Recycling Drop-Off

The City of Quincy provides recycling drop-off sites at various locations throughout the City as a convenient way for residents to manage their recycling efforts. Sites are open daily from dawn to dusk, and offer residents the ability to recycle paper, cardboard, tin, aluminum, plastic (labeled 1, 2, and 5), and glass. Residents are encouraged to utilize the drop-off recycling sites, following the guidelines and restrictions posted below.


Residents who are unable to utilize the recycling drop-off sites can contact the Department of Central Services to arrange for City personnel to pickup and transport their recyclable materials. Please call 217-228-4553 for additional information.
