The Yard Waste Disposal Site, run by Evans Recycling, is located at 711 West Radio Road. The site is generally open from early spring through late fall, depending on weather. The site shall be closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Yard Waste Disposal Site Hours of Operation
City of Quincy property owners choosing to utilize the site to drop off yard waste themselves should be prepared to show proof of address when entering the site.
To access the Yard Waste Disposal Site, travel south on Gardner Expressway, then make a right turn onto Radio Road. Follow Radio Road, then make a right turn into Evans Recycling.

Curbside Yard Waste Pickup is collected by Evans Recycling weekly, coinciding with the Quincy garbage collection schedule. Curbside Yard Waste is picked up on holidays. The first day for Curbside Yard Waste Pickup in 2025 will be Monday, March 17, 2025.
The final day for Curbside Yard Waste Pickup in 2025 is to be determined, but is typically mid-December.
Residents choosing to utilize Curbside Yard Waste Pickup for leaves, grass, and small branches and sticks must place their yard waste at the curb in one of the following manners. The City of Quincy and Evans Recycling would like to remind citizens that trash, garbage, or recycle items should not be placed in yard waste bags.
Additional Information:
Wood chips are available at the yard waste collection site! Chips can be loaded by Evans Recycling for $5 per scoop (one scoop will fill a short-bed pickup truck). There will be no charge to those individuals wishing to load chips themselves. No residency requirement applies.
