The Quincy Plan Commission shall consist of 17 members, 13 voting members and 4 ex-officio (non-voting) members:
Voting Members
The Mayor of the City of Quincy, or a City official designated by the Mayor;
Six representative members appointed to the Plan Commission by each of the following local governing bodies/organizations (a representative member does not need to be a member of the local governing body/organization they are representing):
- Quincy City Council
- Adams County Board
- Quincy Public School Board of Education
- Quincy Park Board
- Adams County Board of Health
- Quincy Housing Authority Board of Commissioners
Six at-large members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Quincy City Council, with one at-large member residing outside the corporate limits of the city of Quincy, but within the 1 1/2 mile radius of the city of Quincy.
Ex-Officio (Non-Voting) Members
Four ex-officio members representing the City of Quincy:
- The Director of the Department of Planning & Development
- The Building Inspector
- The Director of Public Works
- The Corporation Counsel
