ACTIVE PROJECTS
1. Broadway Water Main Replacement ‐ 12th to 24th
• Location: Broadway between 12th and 24th Streets
• Timeline: April 11 ‐ August 15, 2025
• Traffic Impact: One lane open in each direction
North 18th scheduled to be closed week of July 28
Details: New water main, replacement of water service lines, some sidewalk replacement
2. North 22nd Reconstruction ‐ Broadway to Oak
• Location: North 22nd from Broadway to Oak
• Timeline: April 11 ‐ August 1, 2025
• Traffic Impact: FULL CLOSURE
Details: New pavement, replacement of water main & water services, new sidewalks and driveways,
paving scheduled for the week of July 21.
3. Harrison Street Bridge over Curtis Creek
• Location: Harrison Street east of South 24th.
• Timeline: March 10 ‐ September 12, 2025
• Traffic Impact: FULL CLOSURE
Details: Bridge replacement. New bridge to be wider and have sidewalks on both sides.
4. Prairie Crossings
• Location: Prairie Crossings shopping center (61st & Broadway)
• Timeline: April 8 ‐ August 1, 2025
• Traffic Impact: Future closure of in-bound North 61st Street
Details: Pavement patching. Project is currently on hold due to material delays. One
section of pavement remains.
5. South 18th Resurfacing - Harrison to Ohio
• Location: South 18th from Harrison to Ohio
• Timeline: July 7 ‐ August 22, 2025
• Traffic Impact: Lane restrictions, side street closures.
18th & Jefferson intersection to be closed for 2 weeks. Date TBD
Details: ADA sidewalk upgrades. Relocation of inlets & fire hydrant
6. South 48th & State—Adams County Project
• Location: South 48th & State intersection and S 48th going south
• Timeline: June 23 ‐ October, 2025
• Traffic Impact: Closure of South 48th from State to Willow Creek
Details: Adding 4’ shoulder on both sides, curb & gutter and sidewalk on west side, culvert extension

• Location: Broadway between 24th and 30th Streets
• Timeline: July 7 ‐ November 1, 2025
• Traffic Impact: One lane open in each direction
Details: New water main, replacement of water service lines, some sidewalk replacement
2. 2025 Lead Service Line Replacement
• Location: Chestnut to Riverview ‐ North 2nd to North 7th & other various locations
• Timeline: June 1 ‐ December, 2025
• Traffic Impact: Lane restrictions, streets to remain open
Details: Replacing lead water service lines to homes, sidewalk & pavement patching
3. College Street—North 4th to North 8th
• Location: College St. from North 4th (US 24) to North 8th.
• Timeline: July ‐ December, 2025
• Traffic Impact: 4th Street down to 1 lane, full closure of College
Details: Complete street replacement, new water main & services, sewer replacement
4. Cherry Street - North 24th to North 28th
• Location: Cherry Street from North 24th to North 28th
• Timeline: Bid opening: July 16, 2025
• Traffic Impact: Full closure of Cherry
Details: Complete street replacement, new water main & services, sewer repairs
