Plan Commission

The Quincy Plan Commission shall consist of 17 members, 13 voting members and 4 ex-officio (non-voting) members:

Voting Members

The Mayor of the City of Quincy, or a City official designated by the Mayor;

Six representative members appointed to the Plan Commission by each of the following local governing bodies/organizations (a representative member does not need to be a member of the local governing body/organization they are representing):

• Quincy City Council
• Adams County Board
• Quincy Public School Board of Education
• Quincy Park Board
• Adams County Board of Health
• Quincy Housing Authority Board of Commissioners
  
  

Six at-large members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Quincy City Council, with one at-large member residing outside the corporate limits of the city of Quincy, but within the 1 1/2 mile radius of the city of Quincy.

Ex-Officio (Non-Voting) Members

Four ex-officio members representing the City of Quincy:

• The Director of the Department of Planning & Development
• The Building Inspector
• The Director of Public Works
• The Corporation Counsel

Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers unless a conflict with City Council meetings due to a Monday holiday causes the meeting to be scheduled on Wednesday of that week.
