The Quincy Public Arts Commission was created in 2019. It consists of 14 members of which 13 have the power to vote. Members are appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. The commission reviews public art priorities with the Quincy Next  Strategic Plan, seeks public and private input and funds for potential public art projects, and hire and manage artists, volunteers, and other potential individuals to complete and maintain public art projects, among other duties.
