Accessible Parking Spaces

Accessible Parking spaces are available upon application. The City follows guidelines set by the State of Illinois Secretary of State Office. Upon approval of the application, City of Quincy personnel will install Accessible Parking sign and pavement markers in front of residences on City streets. Any vehicle that has a properly displayed Accessible Parking Placard or License Plate is allowed to occupy an Accessible Parking Stall. The stalls are not for individual or private use. The City of Quincy reserves the right to remove a sign if it is not being used or is used improperly.


Applicants must have a State of Illinois issued Accessible Parking Permit Placard or Accessible Parking License Plate (registration). The placard or registration and a State of Illinois issued drivers license or identification card must be presented at the time of application. If the applicant rents the residence, the landlord’s signature is required to in order to place the sign front of the property.


Accessible Parking applications are available for download or may be picked up in person from the Engineering Department located on the 2nd floor at City Hall, 730 Maine Street.
