Online Permit Applications

The City of Quincy has partnered with iWorQ to bring online permit applications and code enforcement reporting tools to residents and customers doing business with the City of Quincy's Planning & Development Department. With iWorQ, residents and customers can submit permit applications and code enforcement violations, schedule inspections and view results, pay applicable fees, and search for permit and code enforcement data, all from the convenience of their home, business, or mobile device.

Right-of-Way Permit

A Right-of-Way Construction Permit must be obtained by any utility or telecommunications provider wishing to construct their facilities on, over, above, along, upon, under, across or within City right-of-way. This permit is not required by any utility company that pays a Municipal Franchise Fee to the City of Quincy.

Requirements:
Please refer to Chapter 30 Article XI Section 1.1 of the City Code Book.


Application:

Right-of-way Construction Permits may be obtained by notifying the Engineering Department at (217)228-4527 or you may also download the application form using Adobe Acrobat Reader.


Fee:
 $250 application fee plus $0.10 per linear foot of project length
