Yard Waste Collection Site

Hours of Operation at Evans Recycling, 711 West Radio Road are currently:
Monday - Friday  8 AM - 5 PM
Saturday  8 AM - 12 PM
Sunday Closed


The disposal site shall be closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Property owners in the City of Quincy are allowed to take their yard waste to the site during the above listed dates and hours.

Yard waste curbside pickup will end for the season on Friday, December 15, 2017.

Yard waste curbside pickup will resume on Monday, March 19, 2018.

The City of Quincy and Evans Recycling would like to remind citizens that trash, garbage, or recycle items should not be placed in yard waste bags. Also, yard waste containers should not weigh more than 40 pounds. 

All plastic and metal yard waste containers must be clearly marked around the outside with a two inch wide contrasting color, white or black preferably, approximately 12 inches from the top of the container. If the container is not properly marked, it will not be emptied. 

Wood chips are available at the yard waste collection site! Chips can be loaded by Evans Recycling for $5 per scoop (one scoop will fill a short-bed pickup truck). There will be no charge to those individuals wishing to load chips themselves. No residency requirement applies.
