Quincy Downtown II Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Plan

The City of Quincy has announced the proposed Quincy Downtown II Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Plan and Program. The proposed Quincy Downtown II TIF Project Area is generally bound by 9th Street to the East, Broadway Street to the North, 5th Street to the West, and York Street to the South. The Project Area will also include parcels on the south side of Maine Street from 4th Street to 5th Street. The Project Area consists of 185 parcels containing 145 buildings.

The purpose of the proposed new TIF is to encourage investment and development in this area. For more information on the proposed new TIF, please see the information posted on this website. Updated information will be posted as it becomes available.

NEW!  The City of Quincy has scheduled a public hearing to provide citizens with more information on the proposed Downtown II TIF. This hearing will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.
