Construction of Petco and Adjacent Retail Building

Cullinan Properties Ltd., proposes construction of a retail building with 20,172 square feet of useable space, north of the Starbucks development at the southwest corner of the Quincy Mall property, located on North 32nd Street.

The building's principal space would be occupied by Petco, a pet shop. Bays to the north along North 32nd Street would house three other businesses and comprise of 6,720 square feet. No announcement has been made of the tenants. The buildings would align with the existing strip center; however, would be separated from it.

Additional off-street parking for 16 vehicles, including one accessible, stall, would be provided on the west side of the building. This area is intended primarily for employee parking and customers would make use of existing mall parking. A curbed, landscaped island would separate the new parking area from the private drive connecting Broadway with the Mall's northwest parking lot.
