The yard waste collection site will close at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 24, 2011 and will reopen on Friday, November 25, 2011 for regular business hours. Curbside yard waste pickup will be held on both Thursday, November 24, 2011 and Friday, November 25, 2011. (11/17/2011)
Yard waste curbside pickup will end for the year on Friday, December 16, 2011. Collection will resume again in the Spring. (10/18/2011)
The City of Quincy and Evans Recycling would like to remind citizens that trash, garbage, or recycle items should not be placed in yard waste bags. Also, yard waste containers should not weigh more than 40 pounds. Thank you. (3/4/2011)
Wood chips are available at the yard waste collection site! Chips can be loaded by Evans Recycling for $5 per scoop (one scoop will fill a short-bed pickup truck). There will be no charge to those individuals wishing to load chips themselves. No residency requirement applies. (3/22/2010)
