This is a group of young people between the ages of fourteen and twenty who have expressed an interest in learning more about a possible career in the fields of the firefighting and the emergency services. The group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Central Fire Station, 906 Vermont, from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Young people who have met the training requirements are given the opportunity to spend a day working and training along with the firefighters. This includes responding to emergencies on the apparatus and helping with support operations at the scene. Young men and women who meet the age requirements are welcome to inquire about joining the group by calling the Administrative Office.
