New Intern

The Quincy Fire Department welcomes our new intern, Dan Spyker.

Dan comes to us from WIU, where he's currently working on his Bachelor of Science degree, pending completion of his internship with QFD. Dan's major is in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration with a minor in Fire Administration. He is EMT-Basic Certified, Advanced Scuba Certified, an ACLS provider and is awaiting testing following completion of a Paramedic Specialist course.

Dan was also a volunteer firefighter in his hometown in Custer Park, IL.

We are happy to have Dan as our intern, and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
